This is a labyrinth: an incredibly complex pattern that begins at the perimeter and winds inexorably towards the centre. The path is circuitous and torturous. According the Greek myth, the labyrinth was designed by the architect Daedelus in order to contain the Minotaur.

At it's most basic level, the labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey into the centre of your deepest self, and back out into the world, with a broadening understanding of who you are. We are all on the path, EXACTLY where we need to be.

Although at first glance, this structure may appear to be a maze, it is not. A maze has multiple paths, including twists, turns and dead-ends. A maze is a puzzle to be solved.
